The Cymbria Foundation is a 100% volunteer,
non-profit organization. The Foundation's objectives are as follows:
 |
To foster, celebrate, encourage and promote maritime artists.
Such art includes, but is not limited to performance arts (such as drama and
music), painting and sculpture. |
 |
To provide venues for inspiration, rehearsal, learning, and
performance for maritime artists. |
 |
To provide peer support and inspiration to independent
maritime artists. |
 |
To host and administer an annual festival(s) of maritime
artists, showcasing new ideas, skills and talent. |
 |
To assess, preserve, and/or rehabilitate the venues' natural
surroundings. |
 |
To create and develop community support and involvement in the
promotion and encouragement of maritime artists. |
 |
To cooperate with other organizations which have similar
and/or complimentary objectives and purposes.

The Cymbria Foundation is currently working on the following projects:
 | Investigating the harvest of mature tree stand in Cymbria, and replacing
with indigenous tree and plant species. WORK BEGAN SEPTEMBER 2004 |
 | Nature trail enhancements, including interpretive signage. WORK BEGAN
SEPTEMBER 2004 |
 | Permanent power source to band stage, and hence regular performances on a
smaller scale. -COMPLETED! |
 | Possibility of a drum-clinic/jam fund-raiser for new drum kit. |
 | Mini-golf fund-raiser tournaments every Sunday at Cymbria's Drive-U-Krazy
Mini-Golf. |
 | Cymbria Music Fest 2004 -COMPLETED! |
 | Various Musical/ Artistic Events -ONGOING
