Thank you for making a reservation at Cymbria Campground!

If this is your first time at Cymbria Campground (or if it’s been a long time), this page has some important information that you should know.

While most of our policies are common-sense and typical of many campgrounds in the area,  this page provides first-time guests with the info they find most necessary and helpful.

General Terms

  • It is your responsibility to read, understand, and agree to our policies listed on this website.
  • The loss of your non-refundable deposit (per site) will apply to ALL cancellations. We require a minimum of 7 days notice in advance of your arrival date to cancel your reservation. Failure to give the full 7 days notice will result in charges on your credit card in the amount of 1 night’s stay, or 40% of total reservation (without discounts), whichever is greater. No-shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation (and the reservation will be cancelled). For your records, please ensure that you are given a CANCELLATION NUMBER as proof of sufficient notice.

  • There will be no refunds for leaving a reservation early.
  • While we will do everything we can to accommodate requests for specific sites, please be aware that WE CANNOT GUARANTEE SPECIFIC SITES.
    Because of logistical and other issues, we reserve the right to modify site allocations at any time before your arrival. Please do not reserve if your requested site is a “make-or-break” issue.

  • All of our sites have limits as to maximum number of people, extra tents, trailer size restrictions, extra equipment requirements, etc... While we will do our best to help, we can not guarantee your reservation or offer a refund if we cannot accommodate you because of incomplete, misleading, or false information which was given to us at the time of booking.

On Arrival

  • PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK THE ENTRANCE GATE! Even though you have a reservation, you will still be required to register in person at the office, which takes some time. Please follow signs posted along the entrance and park to the right in the RV Registration Lane or in the designated grassy parking area to the right. Thank you for respecting others.
  • Please bring your wallet/ credit card with you to register at the office.  Your first night's base fees were charged to your credit card at the time of reservation confirmation, however all other fees (and deposit) are still DUE IN FULL upon arrival.

  • Check-out is 12:00 noon. Late check-out fees will apply. Check-ins are 2:00 pm- office closing. Earlier check-ins (no earlier than 9 am) may be arranged- provided your designated site is available- by making arrangements beforehand with the Cymbria office 902-963-2458. Please inform us if you will be arriving late (after office hours). While we will make every effort to accommodate late check-ins that have informed us of their situation with ample notice, we cannot always help those who arrive at extremely late hours, or who have not contacted us beforehand.

  • All sites are inspected at checkout. At check-in, please inform staff ASAP if your site has litter, damage, or other issues.
  • Please help keep our grass green by NOT using trailer mats.


  • Our campground is best suited for mature couples, respectful families, and adventurous travelers. While we encourage everyone to be social and have a great time, this is not the place to party, blare your stereo full blast and yell all night. Our quiet time begins at 11 pm and ABSOLUTE SHUTDOWN is 1:00 am. This means that if you are not mature enough to have your fire extinguished and quietly in your tent or trailer by 1 am (without being told), then NOW IS THE TIME TO CANCEL.
  • Access to the park is controlled by an automatic security gate which allows entry for your trailer and NO MORE THAN ONE (1) passenger vehicle per site. Free parking is available in the designated area for more vehicles. Extra vehicles that need unloading, or belonging to visitors, may enter ONLY AFTER the first vehicle has left the park.
  • A standard SECURITY DEPOSIT of $20 per site will be secured at check-in. We can retain this deposit if your issued security gate entry card is not returned, if your site is not checked-out litter-free and in the same condition as you found it, or if you are asked to leave for not respecting our policies. This deposit amount can be up to $100 per site for special events, or for non-family groups under certain circumstances (at the discretion of our staff). It is the most efficient to do a pre-authorization on your credit card for this deposit, however cash or debit may be used provided that a physical inspection of your site is made before the deposit is returned. Please make prior arrangements with staff if you are leaving earlier than office opens in such cases.

We are sometimes criticized for having too many "rules", but in our experience, everything just goes that much smoother when everyone knows what's going on. If you notice anything at all that's different from any other campground when you arrive, it would probably be that it is full of awesome happy people- and lacking in rowdy or grumpy people. We truly hope that you enjoy your stay!
